Our co-production funding is aimed at helping the UK's world-leading storytelling talent and companies form multi-skilled teams in the production of immersive experiences with a clear path to audience.
Working closely with XR content commissioners, we develop challenges. We then help screen industry talent and companies to respond to those challenges and develop original high quality prototypes, via workshops and mentoring.
Combined with this we offer access to our technical facilities and staff, leading talent, R&D audience and business modelling support.
We will open a number of specific co-production calls and we are also open to work with partners who can co-fund innovative storytelling experiences.
Our co-production funding may support projects that include:
- New forms of storytelling (fiction or non-fiction)
- New forms of interactive entertainment
- New forms of game
Content produced will vary in format but be delivered using:
- Virtual reality (including 360 video) technology
- Augmented/Mixed reality technology
- Immersive audio technology
Please note, we do not support individual filmmakers, games developers or talent via co-production funding
